Position: Editorial Manager
Responsibilities:
As the Editorial Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the content and ensuring the success of LILIPOH. Your responsibilities will include:
• Theme development for each quarterly issue
• Solicitation and selection of articles in line with our specialized focus
• Line-editing, copy editing, and proofreading of text
• Maintenance of quarterly editorial schedules and strict adherence to deadlines
• Overseeing translations (EN-ESP/ ESP-EN) and ensuring accessibility
• Managing the entire editorial workflow process, including familiarity with both CMS and AP style guides
• Familiarity with specific terminology in anthroposophy, anthroposophic medicine, Waldorf education, and biodynamic agriculture
Pre-Press and Production Management:
In addition to editorial responsibilities, you will oversee the design and production phases, working closely with:
• Copy editors, proofreaders, and translators
• Advertising managers
• Typesetters/graphic designers
• Printers
• Distribution teams
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in editorial management for a publication of similar nature
• Strong familiarity with anthroposophy, anthroposophic medicine, Waldorf education, and biodynamic agriculture
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with CMS and AP style guides
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with authors, volunteers, and third-party vendors
